What is it?

The STRADA Community of Practice is an online facility for staff working in the substance misuse field who would like to learn more, discuss more, and practice better.  Our members come from a wide range of agencies and are based throughout Scotland and further afield.  Becoming a member means that you can learn and work with colleagues, sharing eachothers knowledge about practice, exchanging skills and advice, gaining new knowledge, problem solving and supporting one another - without having to leave your workplace.

How is it moderated?

Our Community of Practice is moderated by Helen Hayes, STRADA Virtual Learning and Communications Coordinator and all discussions are facilitated by STRADA Training Officers.

Can I join even if I haven't been on a STRADA training event?

Yes! The STRADA Community of Practice was initially set up to compliment our face-to-face training events but it has developed and we want to include and expand the community to all staff who work in the substance misuse field.
